A good man

Here’s a little decency in Washington for you! Republican Congressman Tom Coburn of Oklahoma held a town hall meeting in which some of his constituents made a scene vilifying Nancy Pelosi. Coburn told the audience that she is a nice person, even if he disagrees with her. He even went so far as to say people shouldn’t get stoked up on the ugly rhetoric coming out of Fox News. In his words, “just because somebody disagrees with you doesn’t mean they aren’t a good person.” I wish more politicians would follow after Tom Coburn and rise above the partisan name-calling and character attacks.

Meanwhile, Fox ran a slideshow of viewer-submitted pictures ridiculing the Democrats and their evil big government “nanny state.” Fair and balanced…
